ReplyDeleteI feel your pain, I've had it 3 times!! It's the worst (whenever I had it I swore giving birth was much easier than having mastitis).

ReplyDeleteUuuughhhh mastitis is the worst. HEAT! REST! EMPTY BREAST! (that's what my mom kept chanting when she came over to take care of me when I had it - thanks, mom!). Also, O is the cutest AS USUAL.
ReplyDeleteDude, mastitis SUCKS. (Har har.) I've been there, it is no fun. Hope you got some time in bed with the baby, just nursing and sleeping, with maybe occasional breaks to take hot baths and massage your poor sore boobs - I really think that's the best cure. You have to take it seriously - it's a real illness, and you have to try to nip it in the bud (by power sleeping/nursing).

Had mastitis with the last one, felt so icky. Pretty sure I didn't get up off the couch to blog through it, either!
